The costume draws inspiration from the Dong Ho folk painting of Ba Trieu, one of the most famous female heroes in Vietnamese history.

The highlight of the costume is set to be some unique accessories on it, including hat, brooch, and earrings.

The outfit has been designed by Thuy Nguyen and there are high hopes that it will impress both the beauty pageant’s judges and audiences.

Do Thi Ha, 20, goes into the global contest having previously been crowned as Miss Vietnam 2020, with the local beauty standing at 1.75 metres tall and with measurements of 80-60-90.

In the build up to the function, Missosology, the world’s leading magazine on beauty pageants, named Do Thi Ha among its Top 7 Second Hot Picks, alongside the contestants from Indonesia, India, and South Africa.
