Ethnic cultural village to host a series of activities celebrating New Year
PSNews - The managing board of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism on December 27 announced that, the village will host a series of activities with the aim of welcoming New Year 2022.
According to the announcement, the said activities will be held between January 1 and January 3 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, in Son Tay, Ha Noi.
A programme aimed at introducing brocade products of ethnic groups will be held during the occasion to allow visitors to learn more about the craft.
Guests will also have the chance to experience the cotton weaving craft of the Ba Na ethnic group in Gia Lai province.
As part of the event, the various traditions of the Ta Oi ethnic group in Thua Thien-Hue province will be re-enacted in the village to celebrate the New Year.
In particular, the village will also be hosting a food area which aims to introduce the various cuisine of each ethnic group to visitors. Besides art performances from the Vietnam National Puppetry Theatre are expected to enthrall audiences.
Upon arrival to the village, guests have the chance to join in the activities, including playing folk games and making traditional cakes.
