It also suggested visitors to try the national dish of Vietnam - Pho - "a spicy soup with rice noodles, meat and vegetables". Summer and spring rolls are also among the absolute classics.

The second reason is that, Vietnam has plenty of sun and breathtaking beaches. "Thanks to the long coastline, Vietnam scores with a large number of beautiful beaches.  A must is Halong Bay, which is located in the north of the country. The limestone cliffs and the turquoise sea make the UNESCO World Heritage Site a real tourist magnet", it described.

The Mekong Delta is also a reason for visitors to come to Vietnam, with its unique images of Chai Rang floating market. Hundreds of wooden boats filled with mangoes, sugar cane and other foods float on the water here and people trade their goods.

The article said that, The Mekong River is known as the lifeline of Vietnam. The locals use the water for cooking and washing - and many work on the water. The fertile soil allows farmers to harvest rice three times a year. That's why there are an incredible number of rice fields to admire.

The forth reason is the narrow streets, old temples and magnificent buildings - the historic cities of Vietnam. A pearl in the heart of Vietnam is the city of Hoi An. The historic old town is the only one that was not completely destroyed during the war. That is why it was also named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But the capital Hanoi is also worth a detour, the article said.

And last but not least, the nature of Vietnam was highlighted by the newspaper. It affirmed that Vietnam not only has cities to offer, but also an incredibly beautiful landscape. From green rice terraces to sand dunes, everything is there.

The article suggested visitors to go to the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Here is an old cave system that is provided with underground rivers. A boat trip is a true spectacle. Also beautiful is the Nui Chua National Park, which is located on the east coast. Over 600 plant species and over 200 animal species are waiting to be discovered here.
