Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 attracts over 200,000 visitors
PSNews - The 2023 Hanoi Creative Design Festival has attracted a crowd of domestic and international tourists to Hanoi thanks to its various interesting and creative activities.
The festival, in its second edition, was jointly organized by the municipal People’s Committee, the Vietnam Association of Architects, and the Vietnam Railway Corporation and relevant agencies.
Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 included more than 60 cultural activities as well as 4 works introducing architecture and art activities, exhibitions, seminars, community event series, and creative fairs among others.
The festival’s venue - the nearly 120-year-old industrial heritage space was transformed into a creative complex with unique architectural works.
According to the organizers, within its 12 days, the Gia Lam Train Factory — the centre of the festival — attracted 200,000 visitors, while the Hang Dau Water Tower saw 30,000 visitors.
The organizers also sold up to 26,000 tickets to visitors for four heritage trains running between Hanoi Station and Gia Lam Station.
The event aimed to continue to promote the capital's potential and strengths, raise community awareness, toward connectivity and expansion of cooperation between domestic and international organizations, experts and businesses in multiple fields of creative design and cultural industries, as well as realize its commitments to UNESCO when by joining the Creative Cities Network.
Spread across 17 locations and featuring over 60 events, the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 is a celebration of heritage, creativity and the vibrant spirit of innovation.
