Hanoi Police Club beats legendary Brazilian footballers in a friendly match

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Reunification Day and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, a friendly football match between the Hanoi Police Club played a friendly match with a Brazilian football team on the afternoon of April 29th, in Hang Day stadium, Hanoi.

The football match, organized by the Vietnamese People's Public Security Sports Association, was in a series of the events promoting the Brazil - Vietnam Football and Tourism Festival, marking the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Brazilian team included many famous players such as Dunga, Lucio, Kleberson, Paulo Sergio, Edmilson, Giovanni, Zé Carlos.

In the first half, the Hanoi Police Club took the lead with a goal scored by Van Thanh from the penalty spot. After the break, the Hanoi Police Club continued to score 3 more goals, thanks to Jeferson Elias, Pham Gia Hung and Ho Ngoc Thang, while the Brazilian team had a goal for its own. Finally, the Hanoi Police Club beat the guest team 4-1.

* On the morning of the same day, the Brazilian team paid a visit to the PVF Football Academy under the Ministry of Public Security.

Hosting a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Vietnam Marco Farani and famous Brazilian footballers, Deputy Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang wished to further promote the cooperation between the Vietnamese People's Public Security Sports Association as well as the PVF Football Academy and Brazilian Football Academies in training Vietnamese young and talented footballers.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Vietnam Marco Farani affirmed that there is great potential for cooperation between  the Vietnamese People's Public Security Sports Association as well as the PVF Football Academy and Brazilian partners. 

He also revealed that many former Brazilian national players had been managing football academies, and hoped that more Brazilian qualified football coaches would come to Vietnam in the coming time.
