Homecoming ceremony for Miss Grand International 2021 Thuy Tien

A homecoming ceremony was held on January 11 in Ho Chi Minh City for Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, with roughly 3,000 fans in attendance at the event.

This marks the first meeting between Thuy Tien and her local fans one month on from being crowned Miss Grand International 2021 in Thailand.

Tien displays her sincere thanks to all people who offered her support to shine at the global pageant.

She presents a bouquet of flowers to both parents and relatives for their great encouragement during the course of pageant.

The beauty queen will sponsor a total of 15 orphans who lost their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic until they are 18-years-old. In addition, she gives 30 scholarships to poor students, assists 20 disadvantaged women in Ho Chi Minh City, and helps to build a playground for Ho Nhi school in Cao Bang province.

Thuy Tien presents bouquets of flowers in order to show her gratitude to designers and stylists who help her to bring the historic win to the country.

Local fans present her favourite cake on stage.

Tien sings a song like giving a special gift to fans.

The beauty then hands over plenty of gifts to fans in an exchange held between her and members of the audience.

Around 3,000 people are estimated to join the homecoming ceremony for Miss Grand International 2021.

Earlier on the same day, Miss Grand Thuy Tien takes part in a parade through several streets in the southern city, receiving plenty of cheers from residents.

The parade runs through streets such as Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, and Nguyen Hue, before ending at the Phu Tho competition hall in Ho Chi Minh City which holds a homecoming ceremony for Thuy Tien.

Ms Tien continuously waves and cheers in response to the love shown by local people.

During the parade, the local beauty lays a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh monument situated on Nguyen Hue walking street.
