Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc to represent Vietnam at Miss Intercontinental 2022
Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, the first runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2022, has been selected as the Vietnamese representative at Miss Intercontinental 2022, an international beauty contest which is scheduled to be held this October in Egypt.
The announcement of Bao Ngoc as the nation’s representative was made at a ceremony held on September 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Cinderella Faye Obeñita, Miss Intercontinental 2021 and representative of the Miss Intercontinental Organisation, presented a sash to Bao Ngoc at the event, giving her plenty of encouragement ahead of the start of the global pageant.
Bao Ngoc stands at 1.85 metres tall and comes from Can Tho City, with the local beauty first rising to prominence by winning the first runner-up title at Miss World Vietnam 2022, thereby meeting the criteria to compete at the 2022 Miss Intercontinental pageant.
Ngoc noted that she is confident with her English language skills after achieving an IELTS score of 8.0 and is now ready to head to the competition and do the country proud.
The Miss Intercontinental competition is one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International. Indeed, it has grown to become the ultimate show of female beauty and success.
The Miss Intercontinental pageant was first held back in 1971, with the 2022 version set to get underway in Egypt on October 14.
