Meaningful cannonball garden in Ninh Thuan
PSNews – After many years of hard work, there are over 500 cannonball trees with unique postures in Dung's garden. Dung created many special tree shapes based on Buddhist philosophy or the tree shape represents Vietnam's Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
About 10 years ago, Pham Van Dung visited the Cambodian Royal Place and he was attracted to a very beautiful tree named cannonball.
Its flowers are orange, scarlet and pink in color, and form large bunches measuring up to 3m in length. These inflorescences are borne on thick tangled branches produced from the trunk. In particular, cannonball tree is considered a sacred tree in Buddhism.
Then he started to learn more about this tree and brought them back to Vietnam to plant a garden.
With the aim of introducing the beauty of Buddhist culture and the love of nature and Fatherland, Pham Van Dung planted more than 500 cannonball trees with unique postures in Truong Sanh village, Phuoc Hai commune, Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province, attracting a large number of visitors.
After many years of hard work, Dung successfully created many special tree shapes based on Buddhist philosophy or the tree shape represents Vietnam's Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
The Vietnam Record Organization on November 1, 2021, officially set a record for Pham Van Dung, With a large number of unique cannonball trees in the garden.
