Tran Nguyen Minh Thu becomes Miss Tourism Da Nang 2022
PSNews - Tran Nguyen Minh Thu, a student from the Da Nang University of Economics was crowned the 2022 Miss Tourism Da Nang at the finale held at the Trung Vuong Theatre on March 5.
The Da Nang Municipal People's Committee in collaboration with its department of culture and sports, department of tourism and the Da Nang Tourism Association, held the finale of the 2022 Miss Tourism Da Nang.
Accordingly, Tran Nguyen Minh Thu, a student from the Da Nang University of Economics was crowned the 2022 Miss Tourism Da Nang. The first and second runners-up were Vo Le Que Anh, a student from the University of Foreign Languages - Hue University, and Tran Khanh Nhi, a student from the University of Foreign Language Studies - Da Nang University.
During the finale of the first-ever Miss Tourism Da Nang beauty pageant, a total of 29 contestants from many provinces and cities nationwide competed in the categories of ‘Ao Dai’, swimsuits, and evening wear. The top five contestants took part in question-and-answer sessions.
In addition to Miss Tourism Da Nang 2022 and the two runners-up, the contest’s organisers presented such subsidiary awards as Miss Fashion Icon, Miss Communications, Miss Kindness, Miss Talent, Miss Sports, Miss Beach Beauty, and Most Favourite Beauty on TikTok.
The beauty pageant aimed to select a typical representative who converges all the elements of modernity, knowledge, beauty of the soul, charm and bravery of women in the context of international integration. During her tenure, the tourism ambassador will play a vital role in introducing the tourism and culture of the city to international friends.
