Vietnam among five largest international beauty pageant winners

Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Miss Grand International 2021, has been named among the five largest international beauty pageant winners as announced by prestigious global beauty site Global Beauties.

Global Beauties unveiled a list of the winners of the five largest beauty pageants in the world, including Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Grand International, with Vietnamese representative Thuy Tien being honoured among them.

Karolina Bielawska takes the crown at the 70th edition of the Miss World 2021 beauty pageant on March 17. The 23-year-old beauty stands at 1.79 metres tall and is currently a famous model in Poland.

Harnaaz Sandhu, 22, from India beats off competition from 79 other contestants worldwide to claim the Miss Universe 2021 pageant. She now works as an Indian model and actress.

Chanique Rabe takes the Miss Supranational 2021 title in the grand final held in Poland. The 25-year-old beauty from Miss Supranational 2021 owns her own fashion brand Chanique Designs and it notable for being the first representative from Namibia to win the crown.

Thai pharmacist Sireethorn Leigharamwat defeats 82 beauties from across the world to claim the title of Miss International, becoming the first contestant from Thailand to top the pageant in the process. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the beauty contest has been cancelled for two consecutive years, meaning she still holds the incumbent crown and has become the beauty with the crown for the longest period in history.

Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien is crowned Miss Grand International 2021 in the ninth edition of the beauty pageant which concluded in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 4 last year.

The 23-year-old beauty is honoured after surpassing 69 candidates from different countries and territories around the world. She becomes the first Vietnamese contestant to win the title in the process.
