COVID-19: No new cases in 84 hours, one patient retests positive

A further two patients were discharged from hospital on April 19 after a full recovery, taking to 203 the number of recoveries in the country. Some 65 active cases are being treated at 11 health facilities across the country.
However, a recovered patient who was released from hospital on April 14 was confirmed to contract the virus again. Health professionals are examining why the female patient had relapsed.
Meanwhile, three severe cases, including the British pilot, are progressing slightly, with two of them testing negative, and the last showing cognitive ability.
Although no new cases have been detected during the past 84 hours, experts said it is too early to confirm the disease has completely been brought under control in Vietnam.
They advised the people to strictly implement the government's social distancing measures and the health sector's recommendations to halt the spread of the deadly virus among the community.
