A delegation led by Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam Deborah Paul on January 16 visited the support center for Agent Orange victims in the Central coast city of Danang’s Hoa Vang district, Nhon Hoa commune, Phuoc Hung village and presented 2 classrooms with rehabilitation equipment.

The rooms, worth 89 million VND, was built in September 2018 during a visit to Danang of the HMCS Calgary ship of the Royal Canadian Navy.
The Canadian sailors, during the earlier visit, joined exchange activities with children with disabilities, Agent Orange victims in the city.
About 5,000 people in Danang were exposed to dioxin, and about 1,400 of them are children. They currently receive the care of health, rehabilitation, cultural studies and vocational training at centers that run by social funding.
