In the early hours of October 13, a container truck lost control whilst driving on Tran Van Giau road, HCM City, crashing into six houses by the roadside.

| In the aftermath of the collision, the driver was unconscious in the truck. When he regained fully consciousness, he said that the accident was caused by him trying to avoid a motorbike that had suddenly driven in front of him. |
