Da Nang opens Nature Education Center for young people

PSNews - The Nature Education Center will be a useful learning facility for over 3,000 students in Da Nang City and people living in neighboring areas, as well as domestic and international visitors to Da Nang.

The first Natural Education Center of Da Nang City is located at No.70 Ly Tu Tan Street, Son Tra District.

The center was built by the Centre of Biodiversity Conservation GreenViet, with a total investment of nearly 1 billion VND donated by more than 60 organizations and individuals and many voluntary working days from the community.

The center, which covers an area of 100m2, consists of 5 subdivisions including: General introduction of Son Tra; Diversity of Son Tra's flora and fauna; Queen of primates: brown-shanked douc langur; Son Tra - the fragile treasure; and Suggested solutions to conserve the Son Tra nature and encourage the community contribution to protecting Son Tra biodiversity.

Besides, the centre will also organize other natural education activities for local students and visitors, such as going sightseeing, painting, cleaning up rubbish to protect Son Tra or planting trees.
