Da Nang people donate medical equipment to local hospital

PSNews – The Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital on August 22nd received 5 patient monitors donated by local kind donors.

Deputy Director of the Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital – Doctor Nguyen Son said, these 5 monitors will be allocated to some newly formed departments that are lacking equipment, namely: Pediatric Gastroenterology, General Pediatrics, Pediatric Respiratory, Emergency, and Cardiology Department.
The pieces of machinery are expected to assist and improve the quality of treatment of pediatric patients at the hospital.
These patient monitors are used to follow up serious cases or patients at high risks of cardiovascular death and to monitor heart beats and blood pressure.
The two kind donors are Nguyen Thi Ai Nhi (residing in Da Nang) who donated 4 patient monitors of brand Nihon Kohden with a total value of 720 million, and Nguyen Duy Bao (Da Nang) who offered a patient monitor worth of 180 million VND.
