Fire Police organize training course for students
PSNews – A dissemination program on fire prevention and safety was organized by the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department on January 22 in coordination with the Youth Union Chapter of the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Sub-Department of Phu Tho and Hung Vuong High School (Phu Tho town).

The program, themed “An toan ban than – Gia dinh hanh phuc” (For your safety and family happiness), was attended and chaired by Major General Doan Viet Manh, Director of the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department and Senior Colonel Phung Duc Quang, Vice Director of the Phu Tho Provincial Police.
Fire police officers provided teachers and students of Hung Vuong High School with basic knowledge of fire prevention and fighting, guidance for safe use of electricity and gas, escape skills in case of fire and manipulation of portable fire extinguishers.

The students participating in the program were also given a chance to learn and practice skills of escaping from multi-floor buildings on fire with equipment. The fire police officers also answered all questions on fire prevention and fighting raised by the students.
The Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department also prevented 16 scholarships, each worth VND 500,000, to poor students with outstanding academic performance as well as 30 fire extinguishers to Hung Vuong High School.
