Four Vietnamese universities break into Quacquarelli Symonds global ranking

Four Vietnamese universities was named in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings 2022 (QS WUR 2022), a British firm specializing in overseas education, and released Thursday.

Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City and its Hanoi sister, entered the 801-1000 band of the 2022 rankings for the fourth consecutive year. Ton Duc Thang University was named in the 1001-1200 band while Hanoi University of Science and Technology raked among the 1201+ group.
QS WUR 2022 rated 1,300 universities and colleges among the 1,673 education institutes from 93 countries and territories. This year’s list saw 145 new entrants.
The list analyzes six factors including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.
