Giant sinkhole appears in HCMC

PSNews-Unusual heavy rains resulted in a giant sinkhole at a road junction in HCMC, causing troubles to various vehicles.

On April 2, public construction workers managed to fill in the sinkhole at the intersection of Le Van Viet - La Xuan Oai, Tang Nhon Phu A Ward, District 9, HCMC.
On April 1 evening of, after a multi-hour heavy rain, the road at Le Van Viet - La Xuan Oai intersection unexpectedly subsided, creating a huge sinkhole. People living in this area reported the incident to the authorities and placed obstacles and signs warning people and vehicles of the dangerous sinkhole.
The sinkhole is 4m in length, 2m in width and about 2m in depth. Workers also dredged the sinkhole to find out the cause of the incident and then tried to fill up the hole.
