Hanoi proposes to host high fireworks at three places during Tet

Mr. To Van Dong, Director of the Hanoi Municipal Department of Culture and Sports stated that the department advised the Hanoi leadership to host 15-minute fireworks shows at high altitudes at three places cross the capital – on the eve of the Lunar New Year.
According to Mr. Dong, the department suggested that the costs of all firework shows will be mobilized from social sources. However, the locations of the fireworks shows have yet to be announced.
The department also recommended Hanoi's leaders to set off fireworks during the Vietnam Independence Day (September 2) and the capital's Liberation Day (October 10) in 2021 but these programs will depend on the socio-economic situation and pandemic situation.
Earlier, a representative of the Hanoi Capital Military Command on November 30 shared that Hanoi would set off fireworks at high altitudes in six places and low altitude fireworks at 24 other places across the city.
