High school examination in Phu Yen canceled due to suspected COVID-19 case

Tran Khac Le, Director of the Provincial Education and Training Department of Phu Yen, said 766 students in 2 examination sites were stopped taking the high school graduation exam after a suspected COVID-19 infection had been detected.

Earlier, the health authorities of Phu Yen took samples of nearly 11,000 examinees and 2,405 teachers in the province for COVID-19 testing. 431 students were quarantined and would sit the exam at a later time, which is still unknown.
Le said that the health authorities detected suspected COVID-19 infections and urged the Provincial Education and Training Department to call off the high school exam at 2 related schools. This move affected 766 students.
