Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands Exhibition Center recognized as important tour destination

The Hoang Sa Islands Exhibition Center, located at ThoQuang ward, Son Tra district, was inaugurated on March 28, 2018.

It is a very important political and cultural project, and also considered as a landmark of Vietnam’s national sovereignty, as the center exhibits documents affirming and vividly illustrating the peaceful process of Vietnam's exploitation, claim for sovereignty, management and protection of  the Paracel Islands in a long consecutive period of time without any contests from a foreign country and in accordance with international practice and law.

The Exhibition Center displays various documents, exhibits and photos related to Hoang Sa.

The 4-storey building displays over 200 documents, exhibits and photos, which are organized in a timeline from Vietnam’s exploration and claim of sovereignty over the islands in the Nguyen Dynasties to the management of the Vietnamese State over the islands, including the management of the former Saigon government over the islands in the 1954-1975 period.
