Hundreds of students provided free trips home for Tet

PSNews – Hundreds of poor students of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry on January 1 were provided with free buses to go home for Tet.

On the eve of the lunar New Year festival, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry organized 6 free buses to transport nearly 300 students home for Tet. The university also provided these students with free gifts.

Tran Viet Van, a beneficiary student, said this was the first time in his 2 years at the university, he had had such an opportunity to go home for Tet for free, thanks to his university. "My family is poor so I am now very happy as my university has provided me with a free bus to my hometown.”, said Van.
According to Prof. Dr. Le Van An, Director of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, his university has provided free tickets and buses for poor student for the past 5 years.
He also added that by providing free buses or bus fares for poor students, the university hopes that they will have a happy Tet holiday with their families.
