Bering Ekateria is internationally wanted by Interpol for illegal storage and transportation of narcotic substances.

In September 2013, the Russian Police detained Bering Ekateria and her husband for illegal drug trafficking and storing. However, she fled to Vietnam on a direct flight from the Russia to Cam Ranh International Airport, Khanh Hoa province while she was out on bail.

During the hiding time in Khanh Hoa province, Bering Ekateria stayed at a rented apartment in Ngo Quyen street, Xuong Huan ward, Nha Trang city and worked at a 4-star hotel’s spar. She then moved to a luxury apartment in Tran Phu street, Loc Tho ward.

Meanwhile, the Russian Police decided that Bering Ekateria had fled to another country after they failed to have found her in the country. The Russian Police then asked Interpol to issue an international wanted notice for the female drug dealer.

Receiving the information from the Interpol Office of Vietnam, the Criminal Hunting Police Division of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police took various professional measures and discovered Bering hiding in a luxury apartment in Tran Phu street, Loc Tho ward, Nha Trang city.
