Japan Coast Guards’ Training Vessel visits Da Nang

PSNews –Echigo ship of the Japanese Coast Guard Force on June 13th docked at Tien Sa port and started its seven-day visit to Da Nang city.
Colonel Toyota Chikara, Captain of Echigo ship expressed his honor to visit the beautiful coastal city of Da Nang.
“This is the first time our Echigo ship has visited Da Nang. Echigo’s officers and sailors will join several activities and law enforcement drills at sea with the Vietnam Coast Guard force as well as exchange experience in real situations”, said Colonel Chikara.
During their visit, officers and sailors of Echigo ship will pay courtesy visits to the High Command of the Vietnam Coast Guard, and the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee.
Echigo’ crew will also take part in several training sessions at sea with units of Vietnam Coast Guard Region 2 on June 16th.
Echigo ship is 105.4m in length and 14.6m in width, and its tonnage is over 3,100 tons. Echigo is scheduled to stay in Da Nang for 6 days and leave Tien Sa port on June 19th.
