Over 1,000 artists to attend Vietnam International Choir Competition

More than 1,000 artists from 22 famous choirs across the world will participate in the 6th Vietnam International Choir Competition, which will take place in Hoi An city of the central province of Quang Nam from May 15 to 19.

According to organizers, the four-day event will see the participations of more than 1,000 artists from 22 famous choirs from China, Esstonia, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore and the US.
The competition will be co-held by Germany’s Interkultur organisation and the People’s Committee of Hoi An city.
The event aims to promote culture, heritage and tourism potential of Quang Nam while introducing unique types of choir performances to the public. It is also a chance for Vietnamese artists to exchange performance experience with international choirs.
