Thousands people join New Year Marathon in Binh Duong

PSNews - The New Year Marathon Tourney organized on the first day of 2018 in Binh Duong city attracted the participation of nearly 10,000 people.
This was one of the activities to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the establishment of Binh Duong province (January 1st, 1997), responding to the 8th National Sport Festival in 2018.

In this year’s marathon tourney, 200 athletes from 22 cities and provinces across the country competed in the professional team categories while more than 600 athletes competed in the non-professional categories.
Meanwhile, a fun run attracted nearly 7,000 people, including provincial leaders, donors, local fitness clubs and representatives of the local Youth Union, Women Union chapters as well as students and youths in the province.
The professional athletes competed in 10 categories, including men’s, women’s and teams’ ones, on the central roads of the new city of Binh Duong.
