Transportation enterprises sign commitments to complying to traffic laws

The police of Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, on April 14 held a meeting to disseminate traffic laws to transportation services businesses in the province, and requested them to sign commitments to complying with traffic regulations and traffic order.

Some 500 dump trucks of all kinds, owned by various businesses participating, specialize in transporting construction materials in Da Lat city.
Given an increasing demand for construction in the city, the police allow trucks to enter the city’s center in certain time a day. However, some transportation services companies took advantage of this regulation and let their trucks operate all days, disordering the traffic in the city’s center and risking other traffic participants. In fact, the police had detected and handled various traffic violations of drivers.
With the newly-signed commitments, local transportation services firms will hopefully not to violate the traffic regulations.
