Troops produce 5,000 face shields to support Laos people amid COVID-19

• Fund-raising campaigns to support pandemic-affected people in Laos, India, Cambodia

Under the direction of the ThuaThien - Hue Provincial Military Command, on May 11, dozens of officers and soldiers of Regiment 6, stationed in Thuy Phuong ward, HuongThuy town, ThuaThien Hue province, began to produce thousands of face shields for people in Salavan and Sekong provinces of Laos.

Over the past days, the officers and soldiers of Regiment 6 have all been determined to complete their plan so as to deliver them to Lao friends. They hope that these face shields will effectively support the Lao authorities, soldiers and people in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The production and presentation of thousands of face shields of the ThuaThien Hue Provincial Military Command to the two Laos provinces of Salavan and Sekong have contributed to strengthening solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
