UK ambassador to participate in charity run

BBGV Charity Fun Run is an annual event hosted by the British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV).

This third annual charity Fun Run is expected to welcome 6,000 participants. BBGV has also confirmed that Ambassador Giles Lever and singer Tuan Hung will participate in this meaningful event.

BBGV Charity Fun Run is a charity fundraising event aiming to encourage the sport spirit, enhance community spirit, and raise fund for charity projects in different fields in Vietnam, including education, healthcare, disaster risk reduction, hence contributing to the well-being of the Vietnamese people.

First launched in 2000, over the last 17 years, BBGV Charity Fun Run has attracted over 90,000 participants, raising more than 9 billion VND for charity events in Vietnam, becoming an annual event in two biggest cities in Vietnam, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

BBGV Charity Fun Run 2017 will take place from 8am to 12pm on Sunday, November 5 at Ecopark. The run route is 5km long with various fascinating side-events and presents for the participants.
