The event was part of activities of the two countries in celebration of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relation (1973-2018).
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Truong Son, Director of Cho Ray Hospital said that the Viet Nam - Japan health examination center will provide high-quality medical examination services according to the model of "Ningen Dock" in Japan.
Besides basic heath check-ups, Ningen Dock also provides comprehensive health examination services that can detect diseases at an early stage.
In other words, if patients are detected with signs of diseases and health risks via basic health checkups, they will be examined in depth and carefully monitored by the center. With its modern medical equipment and devices, the center can meet the demand of local residents and foreigners.
"Ningen Dock", a new health check-up model of Japan, targets disease prevention instead of treatment, with its advantages of dual and remote diagnosis with the support from Japanese experts.
Speaking at the event, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Umeda Kunio said that the project of Vietnam - Japan health examination center was granted the investment certificate at the APEC conference held in Da Nang in late 2017, reflecting the good cooperation in health technical transfer between the two countries.
In his part, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien highly valued Japan’s coordination to bring Vietnam's healthcare industry to a new height. Deputy Minister of Health affirmed that the model has created opportunity for Vietnamese people to access high-quality health check-up and screening services with advanced technology.
