Vietnam Railway about to sell trains tickets for Tet

PSNews – Organizations and individuals were able to purchase train tickets for the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) from October 15th at the Vietnam Railway website www.dsvn.vn or at railway stations, ticket offices and ticket agents of the Vietnam Railway.

During the Tet season, the Vietnam Railway will run 15 pairs of North-South trains, including 10 pairs of trains between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

There will also be extra trains between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Vinh and Dong Hoi.

Besides, during the Tet vacation, the Vietnam Railway will run 9 additional pairs of trains on the routes from HCMC to Tam Ky, Hue, Da Nang , Dieu Tri, Nha Trang and vice versa.

If the number of passengers surge, the Vietnam Railway will organize more trains and add extra coaches to the trains to meet the increased travel need of passengers.

The Vietnam Railway will still offer discounts to social beneficiary people such as Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, victims of Agent Orange, disabled people, children from the age of 6 to 10, and elderly people, during this Tet while exempting travel fare for children under 6 years old travelling with adults.
