The Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia stated that Doan Thi Huong’s health is good. A representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia also relieved her anxiety and explained the situation to her before she goes on trial on April 13.
On April 16, leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam had a meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, asking the Malaysian side to ensure a fair and impartial trial for Huong, in accordance with the Malaysian laws and international practice, as well as legal interests and rights of Vietnamese citizen Doan Thi Huong.
