Vietnam students win 12 medals at IMSO 2017
- Vietnamese students in US increase for 16th straight year
- Government strengthens efforts to support students’ start-ups
According to the Ha Noi Department of Education and Training, thanked to well preparation, the team grabbed 3 gold, 8 silvers and 1 bronze.
The outstanding students came from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, Cau Giay Secondary School, and Hanoi Star Secondary School.
In particular, Pham Thanh Hung from Hanoi Star Secondary School claimed the gold medal in Science.
In Mathematics, Do Quang Minh and Hoang Ngoc Bao Khue won gold medals.
IMSO is an annual competition in Math and Science for primary school students aged under 13, aiming to increase their interest in mathematics and sciences and to develop problem-solving skills.
This year's competition was held in Singapore from November 20 to 24. The competition witnessed the participation of 22 nations and territories including China, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Iran, etc.
