Doctors decided the baby must have taken a surgery as soon as possible, although it would be a very difficult and dangerous case as the infant’s body was too small.
But if the surgery had not been conducted, according the doctor, the patient would have risked many injuries, such as kidney failure, necrotizing enterocolitis, pneumonia, sepsis and multiorgan failure.
The doctors of Children’s Hospital 1 then held a consultation to find the best solution, and decided to conduct a surgery on the baby on March 23 after 20 days of preparation.
After an hour conducting the operation, the surgical team succeeded in saving her life. The baby now still needs nasal breathing aid and G-tube but she has signs of recovery.
