Woman gives birth to 5.6kg baby

A 33-year-old woman in Binh Phuoc delivered a baby boy weighing 5.2 kg.

The mother was admitted to the hospital when she was about to labor.
Through the diagnosis, the doctors assessed that the fetus was heavier than normal and predicted there was some risk to the fetus, so a cesarean section procedure was indicated.
The 1-hour-long surgery was successful and the baby boy was born healthy on the same day with a weight of up to 5.2kg, equivalent to a 2-month-old baby.
