PSNews – A dance contest for the visually-impaired was held on July 23 by the Vietnam Blind Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Paralympic Association and the Vietnam Dance and Sports Federation

It is part of the program to celebrate the success of the SeaGames 22 and ParaGames 22.

This year’s contest drew the participation of nearly 80 dancers from 20 units under the Vietnam Blind Asssociation as well as dance clubs in Hanoi.

The event was a chance to widely introduce dancesports to people with visual imparment while boosting their confidence.

Prior to the contest, the “Dance  bridges gap” Contest was co-organized online by the Vietnam Blind Association and SoLAR, a city-based dance club for the blind.

At the awarding ceremony, the organizers awarded 28 sets of gold, silver and bronze medals to excellent dancers with a total prize value of 40 million VND.
