HCM City raises 34 bln VND for the homeland’s sea and islands

The Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Ho Chi Minh City chapter raised 34 billion VND from the public to fund the “Vi bien dao que huong- Vi tuyen dau To Quoc” (for the homeland’s sea and islands – for the nation’s front) in 2023, according to an annoucement at an art exchange held on Sep. 7.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Ho Chi Minh City chapter raised 34 billion VND from the public to fund the “Vi bien dao que huong- Vi tuyen dau To Quoc” (for the homeland’s sea and islands – for the nation’s front) in 2023, according to an annoucement at an art exchange held on Sep. 7.

The fund will be used to organise communication activities, exchange programmes and aid soldiers and officials working in the Truong Sa archipelago and the DK 1 rig.

At the art exchange, many programs were held to honor individuals and organizations who have made great contributions to border, sea, and island activities.
