Ministry of Pulic Security handed over 600 new homes to poor households in Ha Tinh

The Ministry of Public Security and authorities of Ha Tinh province jointly organized an event to hand over 600 newly-built houses to poor households in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province on the morning of September 26.

Responding to the program to build homes for the poor in Ha Tinh province, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with sponsors (BRG Group and SeABank) to offer funds for the construction of 1,000 houses for the poor and people in Ha Tinh province.

Accordingly, each policy beneficiary received 50 billion VND to build their new homes.

After 3 months of the project implementation, 600 new homes have been built in the first phase in 13 districts, cities and towns across the province.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang rewards five groups for their outstanding achievements in implementing the housing project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang thanked the local authorities, sponsoring units and benefactors for their great support and contribution to the housing project for the poor launched by the Ministry of Public Security.

He revealed that the Ministry of Public Security assigned its functional units to design house models and draw up the project implementation roadmap while entrusting the police forces in Ha Tinh to join hands with people in building houses for disadvantaged people.

The Deputy Minister hoped that the project beneficiaries after having stable, solid new homes, can try their best to work to improve their lives as well as supporting the local police in ensuring security and order and actively participate in the movement “All people protect national security.”
