Over 4,000 people run for environment in Hue
Hue Jogging 2022 running event themed "For a green Hue" was held on March 6 with the participation of over 4,000 amateur runners.
The race, co-hosted by the Hue Municipal Youth Union organization and the Institute for Research and Development of Thua Thien Hue Province, aimed at spreading the message of environmental protection and helping Hue City become more green, clean, and bright.
The event drew the participation of over 4,000 amateur runners, competing in 3 categories which are 2km (938 athletes), 5km (2.615 athletes) and 10km (559 athletes).
The event also aimed at improving the sport movement in the city, and celebrating the founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 47th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue Liberation Day, and responding to the Hue Festival 2022.
