Over 700 students join “A day to act as firefighters” program
PSNews – The program“A day to act as firefighters” launched by the police in Di An City under the Binh Duong Provincial Police Department has attracted over 700 students from the Di An C Primary School.
According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Head of the Di An City Police Station, the program aims at improving physical health and training social skills, particularly skills to prevent fire and escape from fire, for local children.
The child trainnees were also provided with basic knowledge of firefighting tools, as well as the essetial skills that a firefighter should have.
The program also provided the local children with knowledge of fire prevention and skills to escape from fire or explosion.
Within the program, the students not only had of firefighting tools and vehicles but also got chances to use the actual tools and practice fighting fire.
