People in Hanoi take to streets after lockdown restrictions eased

Crowds could be seen across many streets throughout the capital on the morning of September 17 following the decision made by the Hanoi administration of to loosen pandemic control measures.

From midday on September 16 local authorities permit eateries in green areas to resume takeaway services, along with 39 pandemic control checkpoints being removed.

Traffic congestion could be seen on many streets at peak hours.
