Some 7,000 electronic devices for online learning donated to poor students in Hanoi
The Municipal Department of Education and Training of Hanoi on November 19 coordinated with the trade union of the city’s education sector to present electronic devices to poor students in the city under the program “Internet connection and computers for children”.
At the event, the Municipal Department of Education and Training handed 500 sets of computers, tablets and nearly 20,000 masks donated by organizations to students lacking electronic devices for online learning.
This was the 5th time the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in collaboration with the city’s education and training trade union have handed mobile devices to poor students since the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.
To date, 6,914 students in Hanoi have benefited from the program of supporting students with difficulties in online learning. Some 400 students have been equipped with SIM cards donated by VinaPhone.
