Vietnam flagpole at UNMISS inaugurated

As part of a series of activities towards the 133rd birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1980 - May 19, 2023), the 2.4 field hospital in South Sudan has officially inaugurated a Vietnam flagpole check-in point.
Exciting activities to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh’s 133rd birthday are taking place in many other countries. At the field hospital of the Vietnamese Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan, officials and soldiers inaugurated Vietnam and United Nations flagpoles.
As reported, the flagpole check-in point is located at the entrance of the 2.4 field hospital. The project aims to make a good impression on international guests as well as patients when coming to the hospital, showing national pride, and contributing to beautifying the landscape space in the hospital's background.
This is also a highlight for international friends and staff of the hospital to take photos, preserving memories and beautiful moments during their working term at the Mission.
In an address, Major General Emmanuel Rugazora, Military Commander of Unity Division, South Sudan, sent his best wishes to the staff of the Vietnam Field Hospital on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, a National Liberation Hero and a World Cultural Figure that the people in South Sudan and Africa greatly admire.
