Young policeman wins 2022 Oraichain Hackathon

Lieutenant Nguyen Phuc Tu, an officer of the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department, won first prize in a coding competition – the 2022 Oraichain Hackathon.

The contest was organized by the Youth Science and Technology Development Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with relevant units to promote youth’s creativity, application and development of new scientific and technological achievements.

Nguyen Phuc Tu, a lieutenant at the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department was a four-member team called “Group 1877” competing in the 2022 Oraichain Hackathon.

57 teams across the country competed in the contest.  The jury consisting of reputable experts, scientists and entrepreneurs in the blockchain industry worked hard during nearly 2 months and selected 8 most outstanding teams to participate in the final round.

The awarding ceremony was held in Hanoi on June 12. “Group 1877” won the first prize.
