Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on November 8 hosted a welcoming ceremony in Hanoi for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

| Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau arrived in Hanoi on November 8 to start his two-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. |

The visit takes place at a time when Vietnam – Canada relations are growing robustly and producing mutual benefits across sectors. Vietnam is currently Canada’s biggest trade partner in Southeast Asia and a prioritised market in Canada's Global Markets Action Plan. |
