The green and yellow train carrying Kim Jong Un earlier crossed the Vietnam-China border. The train has about 20 carriages with the entire doors and windows are covered so no passengers can be seen from outside.
A security team of North Korea arrived in Hanoi a few days earlier on an Air Koryo’s flight. These people were also present at Dong Dang train station this morning.

Earlier, TASS (Russia) cited a North Korean diplomatic source that, around 17:00 local time on February 23, Chairman of DPRK Kim Jong Un boarded an armored train starting his journey from Pyongyang through China to Hanoi (Vietnam).
The total distance between Pyongyang and Hanoi is about 4,500 kilometers. The trip of the Chairman of DPRK lasted more than two days.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Chairman of DPRK Kim Jong-un will have the second summit on February 27-28 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Chairman of DPRK Kim Jong Un will also make an official visit to Vietnam.
Chairman of DPRK Kim Jong Un had earlier traveled by train on his first overseas visit to China in March 2018. Three months later, he flew an Air China’s airplane to Singapore for the first summit with U.S. President Donald Trump.

This is the third time Chairman of DPRK Kim Jong Un has been seen travelling overseas on the green and yellow armored train. The first time was his first visit to China last year and the second time was his second visit to China in January.
The late North Korean leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il used to go by train to Vietnam in the 1950s and 1960s.
