PSNews-On the afternoon of July 20, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang responded to a reporter's question regarding the process of completing the procedures for repatriation of remains of Vietnamese citizens who lost their life in the Philippines recently.

“According to information from the Vietnam Embassy in the Philippines, the procedures for repatriating the remains of the two members of ship Royal 16, who had been kidnapped in November 2016 and killed on July 4, 2017 by the Abu Sayyaf terrorist group, have so far been completed,” said the spokesperson.
“The Vietnam Embassy in the Philippines is also working closely with the local authorities to finalize necessary procedures for repatriating the remain of a Vietnamese citizen who had accidentally been killed in attacks by the Philippine Government against the Abu Sayyaf terrorist group,” the spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman sent deep condolences to the families of the victims and hoped the families would soon overcome the pains.
