Japanese PM Shinzo Abe begins official visit to Vietnam

At the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his spouse have begun their two-day official visit to Vietnam from January 16th – 17th.
At 14.55 pm, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks at the Governmental Office.

After that, the two Prime Ministers witnessed the ceremony to sign documents between representatives of the two countries.
The same day afternoon, Japanese Prime Minister paid courtesy visits to Party Chief Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, and had a meeting with Chairwomen of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
Within the framework of the visit, on January 16th evening, Japanese enterprises will participate in a talk with local leaders of Vietnam from 30 cities and provinces across the country. The two sides are expected to sign cooperation agreements relating to climate change and infrastructure.
