NA Chairwoman meets Venezuelan President

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on November 30 met Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Havana before leaving Cuba where she paid tribute to deceased former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

At the meeting, the two leaders agreed to accelerate the implementation of bilateral agreements, especially those on energy and oil and gas and discussed ways to raise bilateral trade.

They concurred to continue to cooperate and offer mutual support at international organizations and multilateral forums.
On the same day, the top legislator also received Cuban patriotic soldier Antonio Guerrero.
