National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan had a meeting with the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as well as leaders of general departments on September 7 in Hanoi.

Member of the Politburo, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan chaired the working session.
The meeting also saw the participation of National Assembly Vice Chairmen; leaders of Committees of the National Assembly; Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security and other representatives.
At the meeting, participants discussed ideas and solutions to ensure political security, social order and safety as well as to build a strong, elite public security force, meeting the task requirements of the current situation.
On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam presented the medal “For National Security” to National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and National Assembly Vice Chairmen for their great contributions to the national security cause.
